Long Valley Solar Shades has been the only retailer devoted to window coverings in Valley County, Idaho since 2005. By popular demand, we have officially expanded our area of service to include the Boise and Sun Valley areas. We offer multiple product lines to provide our clients with the best products and advice as well as the best deal. Our showroom offers hands-on experience with full size hanging shades in a casual, no-pressure atmosphere. We also offer in-home consultations, and we’ll bring the samples to you. Chris Yensen is a Valley County native who grew up in the farmhouse that his family homesteaded in 1902. Before founding his own business, Chris’ careers were in hotel / hospitality, law enforcement, and radio on-air talent and producer. He’s happy to be serving the area and his family and friends with high quality window coverings and his installation magic. No window is too high, too big or too oddly shaped for Chris.

Jill hails from Los Angeles and brings to the company 21 years of experience in corporate sales, marketing and operations. With an educational background in art and design, Jill enjoys helping her clients find just the right treatment to complement and enhance their décor.
